Upgrading Weapons with the Blacksmith

Before you can enchant a weapon, it must first be upgraded. The Blacksmith is an NPC located in Port Town who provides weapon upgrades in exchange for various materials. After your weapon has been successfully upgraded, you can then proceed to the Talon Sage for enchanting.

Scroll Tiers and Rarity

There are four distinct tiers of scrolls available in Blox Fruits, each offering different rarities of enchantments. These are, in order of increasing rarity:

  1. Common
  2. Rare
  3. Legendary
  4. Mythical

All scrolls, except the Common tier, are initially locked. To unlock a higher-tier scroll, you must craft at least 10 of the previous tier's scroll. For instance, to unlock Mythical Scrolls, you must first craft 10 Legendary Scrolls.

Enchantment Types

When enchanting a weapon, the rarity of the scroll used determines the number and quality of random enchantments rolled. There are currently four types of enchantments, listed in order of increasing rarity:

  1. Normal
  2. Unique
  3. Blessings
  4. Curses

Normal Enchantments

Normal enchants are basic buffs applied to your weapon. They come with a level indicator showing the strength of the buff. Examples of effects include extra damage, more XP gain, and life leech.

Unique Enchantments

Unique enchants are significantly rarer than Normal enchants, essentially merging two Normal enchants into one powerful effect. You can only obtain one Unique enchantment per roll.

Masterpiece

Masterpiece increases damage by 5% and decreases cooldowns by 8%. Additionally, skills on your weapon will not consume energy.

Rage

Rage makes you faster, with your movement speed increasing based on the amount of damage you deal.

Sharpshooter

Sharpshooter boosts damage by 10% but, in exchange, makes cooldowns 20% longer.

Strong Grip

Strong Grip is particularly useful for Fruit Mains, as it causes your weapon to take 40% of your melee stats and 60% of your sword/gun stats.

Unbreakable

Unbreakable provides immunity, preventing health skills from being interrupted for 2 seconds.

Unreal

Unreal shortens cooldowns by 20% but results in a 15% decrease in damage.

Blessings

Blessings are special enchantments that apply visual effects to your weapon. They are rare, with a 3% chance to be obtained from Legendary Scrolls and a 10% chance from Mythical Scrolls.

Curses

Curses are arguably the rarest and most potent enchantments. They offer significant buffs but come with a corresponding debuff. Curses are believed to only be obtainable from Mythical Scrolls, though the drop chance remains unknown and unconfirmed.

Curse of the Reaper

Curse of the Reaper: Cuts health regeneration in half, but heals you for 70% of damage dealt.

This curse would be very overpowered in PvP scenarios due to its significant healing potential.

Curse of the Thief

Curse of the Thief: Makes enemies target you more, but significantly increases kill rewards.

This curse is excellent for PvE, especially when farming for materials or bones, due to the increased kill rewards.
